Kris brings over 30 years of office management experience to her role as Director of Accounting and Administration.
“I have worn many hats,” she explains, “but the main focus is on making sure all the financials are running as smoothly and efficiently as possible. I have always been in a sales/business atmosphere, so I understand the background of profit margins, sales, and—of course—the need for marketing.”
Kris manages all aspects of Senior Living SMART’s financials, including QuickBooks, accounts payable/ receivable, payroll, reconciliations, new employee onboarding, new vendor setup, new contractor set up, and collaboration with our tax accountant.
What does she love most about her job? The people.
“The best decision I made was to join the team,” Kris says. “Deb and Andréa are by far my best employers in all my years of experience. They bring professionalism and a level of personal connection with every member, and I can honestly say that I love working with everyone.”
Kris lives on the Cape, and when she’s not working, you can find her playing pickleball. “I am always planning everything around pickleball,” she says with a chuckle. “Other than that, I love the beach, camping, and sometimes just relaxing at home.”
