Raised in the Midwest on the original Star Trek TV series, Weebles, and Scooby Doo, Ginger drank from the garden hose many times and lived to tell the tale. In high school, she had an amazing art teacher who asked her the question that helped define her career path: what could she do every single day and never tire of? The answer was art.
Upon graduation, she went to college in St. Augustine, Florida, at a small school by the name of Flagler College. The dorms and many of the classes were held in the historic Ponce de Léon Hotel. That, combined with living in the oldest city in the U.S., helped Ginger fall in love with all things history related. Ginger graduated with a degree in graphic design and minors in English and archaeology (sadly, the archaeology is seldom used).
Ginger returned the Midwest and got a job in a publishing company in art production. She got married, spent ten years with a small magazine and marketing company, and left in 2003 to start her own business with her husband, photographer Robin Goetz. Their company, RVGP, is based out of their home in Northern Kentucky. Current co-workers include four rowdy dachshunds, two young adults who really need to move out, and a ten-year-old daughter who got whammied by all the creativity genes.
Travel, true crime, reading, and 80’s music are Ginger’s favorite pastimes. She loves Italian food and spent a two-week trip in Italy eating lasagna every day and touring all the ancient sites. She’s eaten haggis in Scotland (does not recommend), had Guinness stew in Ireland, and felt the energy at Stonehenge. When not zipping around with her husband in their Slingshot (see pic above!), Ginger loves to relax and spend time with her family. She’s currently planning a trip to the Netherlands, Germany, and Austria to celebrate the Big 5-0.
Ginger has worked with many Fortune 500 companies over the years and offers a unique eye, a creative mind, and a down-to-earth attitude. She loves working with a variety of clients and helping them find new and different solutions to their design needs. A big heart, great listening skills, and fast response time help keep her clients happy.
A referral brought Ginger to Senior Living SMART, and she has enjoyed the work and people immensely. She looks forward to collaborating with the SLS team and their associates for many years to come!
Yes please… either! Or Lord of the Rings.
Love Italian food. Favorite book is Girl with a Pearl Earring – I’m excited to be going to see the actual painting hopefully this fall.
When I was five, I was in the Ringling Brothers / Barnum and Bailey Circus as a guest in the wedding of Tiny Tim.
I enjoy reading and love to travel with my husband.
