If you combine a passion for seniors with an entrepreneurial spirit and a love of wine, you get Andréa Catizone.
Andréa’s passion for seniors derives from the two decades she spent working in the senior living industry, specifically operations and management (in both regional and nationally recognized owners and operators). In her executive and management roles with Benchmark Assisted Living, she consistently produced results through delivery of world class, industry-leading products and services.
Andréa also served on the board of directors for Alzheimer’s Services of Cape Cod & the Islands for eight years, with two years as board president. Her passion and expertise in Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias set a high standard for quality care, program development, and management of specialty care programs.
In 2012, Andréa cofounded Senior Living SMART with Debbie Howard in an effort to help senior living communities of all sizes succeed. Today, Andréa consistently calls on her expertise in operations and dementia care. She uses both to educate Senior Living SMART’s amazing team members as they develop effective marketing campaigns for clients—campaigns that consistently result in better lead generation and boosted occupancy.
Andréa has a BS in Psychology from Saint Anselm College and an MS in Health Care Administration from Cardinal Stritch University. Always eager to learn new things, Andréa continues to expand her knowledge with certifications from Cornell University, HubSpot, and Duct Tape Marketing.
Even though Andréa loves her day job, she also enjoys spending her free time playing golf and pickleball (yes – it’s a real sport), making pottery, and discovering great wines.
