Laura’s had a pencil in her hand since she can remember. She spent her early career working in public relations for a university and then a banking system before shifting to copywriting with advertising/marketing agencies.
She went independent some 25+ years ago, which is when her focus became content for senior living. Navigating her parents’ aging journey gave Laura a genuine understanding of the challenges of both adjusting to growing older and Alzheimer’s disease.

Based out of Memphis, Laura’s heart is forever in the dry air and beautiful landscapes of the West. “My master plan is to live in the mountains, ride in the pace car at an Indianapolis 500, and find a way to educate people that it’s is a contraction, not a possessive. Not sure I’ll accomplish all three, but I’m thinking positively.”
